HRP 150.1.5Y.KO Mass Comparator

Mass comparators are used in calibration laboratories around the world. Their main task is to ensure the consistency of mass measurements and to verify weights according to the requirements of legal metrology. With the HRP 5Y.KO Manual Mass Comparator you can calibrate mass standards and weights according to OIML (R-111) recommendations for class F1 and lower classes. The HRP 5Y.KO mass comparators consist of a professional weighing platform and a 5Y weighing terminal. Inside the platform is an electromagnetic mechanism in a hermetic steel housing.

Self-Centring Pan Included – a Solution Straight to the Point

The HRP 5Y.KO mass comparator has a self-centring pan that significantly minimises the effects of eccentricity on measurement results. The use of the self-centring pan eliminates the error resulting from placing the weight “out of pan centre”. In addition, such a solution allows the calibration of weights of different shapes and dimensions without the need to set the positioners for central loading of the mass standard each time. The purpose of the pan is therefore to stabilise and level non-centrally placed weights and to distribute several non-centrally placed weights as the resulting reference standard.
