Overview

AP-12/12.5Y Automatic Device for Multichannel Pipette Calibration

Precision, Efficiency and Convenience in the Modern Laboratory
Accuracy, short operating times and ease of use are just three of the many advantages of the new AP-12 model. This advanced pipette calibration station has been designed for laboratories requiring fast, repeatable and standards-compliant measurements. The device provides a fully ergonomic working environment which can be tailored to the user’s individual needs. The application of 12 weighing modules allows results to be displayed simultaneously and up to 12 measurements to be performed in just 5 seconds. The AP-12/12.5Y enables comprehensive management of the pipette calibration process without the need for external software. It calibrates 1-, 2-, 4-, 8- and 12-channel pipettes, making it a versatile solution for a wide range of laboratory applications.

Convenient Transport and Easy Installation
The system is supplied in a dedicated, lightweight carrying case with a two-compartment box, which holds not only the device but also all the necessary accessories. The case allows for convenient transport and ensures the mobility of the workstation. Installation of the device is quick and intuitive – it can be mounted on a dedicated RADWAG table designed for the AP-12/12.5Y model or on a standard laboratory table. The process involves fitting the weighing containers and installing the vapor curtain, which effectively eliminates measurement errors caused by liquid evaporation.

Work Automation and Operational Reliability
The system offers both internal automatic adjustment of all modules simultaneously and external adjustment using a certified mass standard (a dedicated weighing pan is included in the set for this purpose). In addition, one of the modules is equipped with individual automatic internal adjustment. Once the calibration procedure is complete, the device automatically drains the liquid from the containers using a dedicated pump, which significantly speeds up the process and enhances user comfort.

Comprehensive Solution
The kit includes remote access to the RADWAG Web Editor, which enables the preparation of results, data recording and the creation of pipette calibration reports. The AP-12/12.5Y is a solution designed for maximum efficiency, accuracy and convenience in a modern laboratory.

Functions
Autotest

Autotest

Diagnostic function aiming at metrological parameters determination (repeatability), the parameters are determined for the actual conditions of use. When speaking of repeatability it may be also used for weighing time optimization. Autotest is operated in an automatic mode thus operator’s time is saved.
Statistics

Statistics

Statistiscs function registers and analyses performed measurements. This supplies the user withthe following information: Max and Min standard deviation, average value, variance, range et.
IR sensors

IR sensors

Programmable function supporting the weighing process through control of the following options: sliding weighing chamber doors, printout, zeroing, tarring etc. Especially appreciated wherever preventing the balance from soiling is important.
GLP Procedures

GLP Procedures

Diagnostic function allowing to objectively document performed measurements. GLP procedures may be either presented in a short report form or extended one.
Pipettes Calibration

Pipettes Calibration

Function verifying correctness of piston pipettes functioning, the verification is performed via gravimetric measurement of the excreted liquid. Pipettes calibration may be either a stand-alone module or it may be operated
Air density correction

Air density correction

Function performing correction of mass measurement indication, wherein the air density is taken into account. It is used in balances with reading unit < 0,01 mg.
Ambient conditions monitoring

Ambient conditions monitoring

The possibility of cooperation with the THBR 2.0 system
Statistical Quality Control

Statistical Quality Control

Statistical control for determination of basic statistical criteria: maximum, minimum, standard deviation, mean values for each batch, etc.
ALIBI Memory

ALIBI Memory

"ALIBI" memory enables saving and storing up to 100000 measurements.  Measurements are saved automatically upon each pressing of the key. There is no need for any additional operations or changing settings.
The following data related with the measurements is saved: measurement date; measurement time; result (mass); tare value; operator carrying out the measurement (logged in); product name.
The software saves the measurement in a so called loop, i.e. when the measurement no. 100001 is saved, the measurement 1 gets automatically deleted from the memory.
Measurements saved to balance memory cannot be deleted.
You can preview and print out the data saved to the ALIBI database.
