On March 19-20 in Poznań, RADWAG participated in the “LABS EXPO” fair as a speaker and exhibitor.

Poland’s largest trade fair for laboratory equipment and technologies, “LABS EXPO”, is an ideal opportunity to exchange knowledge and experience and to establish contacts and maintain relations between scientists and entrepreneurs. RADWAG could not miss it: we appeared at the Poznań fair with an extensive presentation and premium products, which we displayed at our exhibition stand. Our lecture concerned the life cycle of a measuring instrument in the context of the requirements of the ISO 9001 and ISO 17025 quality management systems for mass, moisture and volume measurement. RADWAG Research Laboratory staff discussed the following issues:

• Metrology of the weighing process, systematic and random error and the area of legal metrology
• Basic normative requirements on the example of the pharmaceutical industry in terms of mass measurement according to the United States Pharmacopoeia (USP) and the European Pharmacopoeia (Ph. Eur.)
• Actual measurement accuracy of electronic balances and sample weight
• Optimisation of the weighing process
• Operating environment of electronic balances in a rational approach
• Determination of accuracy limits for mass and moisture measurements as well as measurement uncertainty and safety factor
• Periodic routine tests
• Legal supervision of the measuring instrument.

At the company’s stand, in turn, we demonstrated our products for laboratory applications, especially the most accurate balances, but not only – also the AP-12.5Y Automatic Device for Multichannel Pipette Calibration.
