RW 5Y.F42 Robotic Weighing System

RW 5Y.F42 Robotic Weighing System is a mobile filter weighing station. Its important component is the multi-range robotic arm, which has a reach of 500 mm and a maximum capacity of 3 kg. The arm moves in several axes and has as many as six degrees of freedom, that is, it bends in six places.

Incomparable Microbalance Readability

RW 5Y.F42 is synonymous with full automation of filter weight measurement. The device is based on the XA 6.5Y.M.A Microbalance weighing mechanism, which provides incomparable repeatability and a readability [d] of 1 µg. The RW 5Y.F42 enables the weighing procedure and dust determination of up to 42 filters with a diameter of 47 mm.

The Cobot’s Helping Hand

A cobot working together with the balance takes samples from the magazine, identifies them with a 2D code reader, and then ionizes and weighs them. The use of a cobot equipped with a range of certified safety systems allows the robot to interact directly with laboratory personnel and minimize the space required for its work. Monitoring of ambient conditions records the current environmental circumstances, allows them to be viewed and data reported.
