The series of product training sessions took place on 13, 15 and 19 May in the Italian cities of Rome, Bologna and Milan. It was aimed at distributors and users of our products.

Before we began the training, we gave an overview of the company’s history, highlighting its market position and extensive distribution network. We then discussed a wide range of products and services – from weighing modules to specialist solutions for the pharmaceutical sector.

Each of the training sessions in the series was divided into the following thematic blocks:

1. Weighing modules – technology and applications

• What are weighing modules?
• Integration with weighing terminals and IT systems
• Applications in industrial automation and production processes.

2. New-generation laboratory balances – 5Y series

• Large 10” display and intuitive interface
• Advanced communication options (USB, Ethernet, Wi-Fi^®, Hotspot)
• Compliance with pharmaceutical regulations (21 CFR Part 11 / GMP Annex 11)
• Electronic signatures, logs and data audits
• Overview of selected models from the 5Y laboratory balances series: XA 5Y and AS 5Y Analytical Balances, and PS 5Y Precision Balances.

3. Applications of the 5Y series balances in pharmaceutical and research laboratories

• Technical features (pharmaceutical sector)
• Full compliance with FDA 21 CFR Part 11 and EU GMP Annex 11
• Ability to generate audit trail records and electronic signatures
• Integration with LIMS systems and data flow management.

4. New X7 series balances

• New, completely redesigned 7” touchscreen display
• Intuitive user interface
• Ergonomics and data readability.

The event concluded with a workshop focusing on the products that had been discussed in detail during the theoretical part.
