“Proceedings of the 10th World Congress on New Technologies (NewTech’24)” took place in Barcelona on 25-27 August. “NewTech” aspires to become one of the foremost international annual congresses in the new technologies field. The congress allows scientists, researchers, industrial engineers and university students to present their research achievements and network with experts in the field.
At this year’s event, the RB 2.5Y.F robotic filter weighing balance was demonstrated. The device incorporates the MYA 5Y Microbalance weighing mechanism and therefore provides an impressive repeatability and readability of 1 µg. The RB 2.5Y.F system complies with EN 12341:2014.
The RB 2.5Y.F Robotic Weighing System was used during a study of the mass stability of different types of filters as a result of varying temperature and humidity. The test process was fully automatic in terms of mass measurements and control of the dynamics of temperature and humidity changes. On the basis of the information obtained, equations describing the variation of filter mass as a function of temperature and humidity were drawn up and presented in the article “Automated Weighing of PM Filters: Impact of Equilibration Duration”. Its co-author is Slawomir Janas PhD, Research Laboratory Manager at RADWAG.
